Description:
This new, rare LGB 20301 Christmas Passenger Starter Set includes Shourt Line SL LED Lighting systems in the loco and each car as well as an Shourt Line animated Christmas Wreath. The lighting operates on analog (DC), AC or DCC track power.
The lighting systems installed are up to 94% efficient so that even the LGB starter set power pack included in this set will power the loco with its 2 bulb lights, 2 LED lights and the 16 LEDs in both cars as well as the 12 LEDs of the holiday wreath at full brightness at the lowest track voltage of any product available. Normally the LGB power pack included with starter sets will not power the train when 4 LGB bulbs are installed. With the Shourt Line lighting system you can power the all of the trains 30 LEDs PLUS ANOTHER 80 LEDs without overloading the LGB starter power pack!
The fist passenger car has a Shourt Line LED controller with dimmer installed with LGB power connectors at the front of connecting to the loco and SL LED power connectors at the rear of each car and the front of the 2nd car. Additional cars with LED lighting can be added at any time via the pug and play SL power connectors. All the LED lightings works with up to 94% efficiency at low train speeds or at full track voltage (24 volts).
The SL LED controller includes a dimmer to adjust your choice of lighting level and works at full brightness at slow loco speeds (low track voltage) AND includes a anti-flicker circuitry.

German made loco with working head light & rear light, SL 2 LED Drop Ceiling Lighting, 6 power pickup points, 4 wheel drive, 1 traction tire and a powerful Bühler 8 pole motor.
The cab has an SL 2 LED warm white drop ceiling lighting fixture that illuminates the cab, controls, fixtures, and engineer.
The SL 8102210 2 LED drop ceiling lighting fixture is pre-wired and voltage regulated. Works from any power source; analog, DCC or battery from 3 to 30 volts. Installs easily on the inside roof of a loco as shown. Perfect for illuminating any small space requiring warm white illumination.
The 2 LED drop ceiling has concealed wiring and installs easily in any loco.
Each car has a 4 LED drop ceiling and a 4 LED copula light installed
The copula mounted on top of the cars solid roof and his 4 LEDs installed with reflector plates so light shines from the copula windows. The LED are positioned above the LEDs inside the car so the lighting is coordinated and protypical.
The LED drop ceiling lighting fixtures and copula LEDs are easily dimmed by lifting the car's roof and turning the SL 8111230's LED dimmer control counter-clockwise as shown above. LGB power connectors on black micro-cable at each end of the car for connecting to the loco and powering up to 200 LEDs in following cars as well as the animated holiday Christmas wreath included with the set.
LED control and dimming is provided by the miniature SL 8453003 Precision Train Throttle & LED controller for powering and dimming over 200 LEDs at up to 94% efficiency from AC,DC or DCC at 4 to 35 volts and includes an anti-flicker buffer circuit.
Don't forget to place the included figures inside the passenger cars by lifting the roof as shown in the video above.

The holiday Christmas wreath is powered by the connector at the rear of either car and features 12 independent blinking amber LEDs embedded in the weather proof solid color wreath. The wreath is also water proof and will even work under water.
